In the future, CNC turning will place greater emphasis on intelligence, automation, and green technology. In terms of intelligence, the introduction of technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data will enable intelligent monitoring and optimization of the machining process. In terms of automation, the integration of robots and automated loading and unloading systems will achieve unmanned operation of the machining process. In terms of green technology, measures such as optimizing cutting parameters and using environmentally friendly coolants will reduce energy consumption and environmental pollution during the machining process.
The CNC machinery industry continues to develop in the directions of high speed and high precision, multi-axis composite machining, intelligence, and networking. Technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and digital twins are further integrating with machine tools, promoting industrial upgrading. For example, at the 2025 China International Machine Tool Exhibition (CIMT2025), five-axis linkage CNC technology has become a common configuration for high-end machine tools, intelligent pulse power supplies, remote monitoring and adaptive control technologies have been applied, and flexible manufacturing units and automated production lines have become the focus of the exhibition to adapt to the production needs of multiple varieties and small batches.
