The factory's Safety Officer will provide on-site instruction on the correct usage methods and safety precautions for common firefighting equipment, such as fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, and smoke masks.
Demonstration of Evacuation Equipment Operation:
This session will focus on demonstrating the proper use of evacuation equipment, including emergency lighting, exit signs, safety hammers, and escape ropes, ensuring that every employee clearly understands their functions.
Hands-on Practice:
Employees will be organized into groups to participate in practical exercises involving the use of fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, and related equipment. The goal is to ensure that everyone knows how to use them and is prepared to respond in an emergency.
Emergency Evacuation Simulation (Subject to On-site Arrangements):
An evacuation drill simulating a sudden fire will be conducted to test the effectiveness of evacuation routes and designated assembly points.
Mr. Zeng Guohua, the company's Safety Officer, organized the emergency response team to carry out a practical drill using fire hoses to extinguish fires. He also provided a clear explanation of key safety precautions, including daily fire prevention, electrical safety in dormitories, and self-rescue techniques during a fire.
In addition, he demonstrated the step-by-step process of using a fire extinguisher and invited employees to practice the "Lift, Pull, Aim, Squeeze" four-step method. He also explained the differences in effectiveness between carbon dioxide and dry powder fire extinguishers.
All employees are required to know the locations and proper use of evacuation equipment, as well as to be familiar with the operating procedures for firefighting equipment such as fire extinguishers.
Through this drill, the company aims to strengthen employees' ability to protect themselves and respond effectively in emergencies. The goal is to remain calm, act in an orderly manner, reduce fire risks, protect personal safety, and safeguard company property.
